Brief Night Work to Occur in Rosewood Lakes Golf Course

Dear Stakeholder:

Granite Construction will begin night work on the Boynton and Rosewood Lakes Bridges on October 3 and October 11 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Falsework, or temporary framework, preparation of both structures’ southbound decks is currently underway, and once completed will be ready for concrete pours.

The Rosewood Lakes Bridge concrete pour will occur the night of October 3 and the Boynton Slough Bridge concrete pour will occur the night of October 11. Night work is needed for lower ambient air temperatures, higher humidity and calmer winds that allow for slower concrete curing resulting in a better product.

The project team is taking several precautions to minimize any noise and light impacts to nearby residents. Equipment working in the area will have White Noise Backup Alarms to muffle the sound, and light plants will be setup facing away from residences.

Ear protection is available by calling the project hotline at 775-789-9832.
