SouthEast Connector Project Team Commits to Zero Fatalities

Dear Stakeholder:

The SouthEast Connector project team has taken the pledge to drive safely by partnering with the Nevada Department of Transportation, the Department of Pubic Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety and their partner agencies in the support of the Zero Fatalities Drive Safe Program. To demonstrate their support, Granite Construction is installing program license plate covers on all Northern Nevada fleet vehicles.

“Driving safely is part of working safely,” said RTC Project Manager Garth Oksol. “The project has a lot of construction traffic and we all need to pledge to make zero fatalities our goal within and around the construction site just as we do offsite.”

With several special events in the area and the Labor Day holiday, the project team wants to remind everyone to always be safe by driving safe this weekend and every day of the week. To learn more about the Zero Fatalities program visit www.zerofatalities.com.
