SouthEast Connector Project Celebrates Infrastructure Week 2016

Dear Stakeholder:

The SouthEast Connector Project has teamed with hundreds of other groups around the country to participate in Infrastructure Week 2016. Held May 16 to 23, 2016 Infrastructure Week highlights the importance of investment in transportation infrastructure which ultimately supports local communities and economies.

“The SouthEast Connector is a significant regional investment in the Truckee Meadows that addresses long-term transportation needs to improve the safety and mobility of people, goods, and services in our area,” stated David Dodson, Project Manager for CH2M.

Members from the project team share their perspective on not only the importance of this project, but the importance of all infrastructure projects.

“Economic progress cannot be made without the needed infrastructure to support it. The SouthEast Connector will add needed traffic relief and environmental improvement to Northern Nevada and I look forward to watching all of the progress and growth this road will support in our community,” said Brian Roll, Granite Construction Project Manager.

RTC Project Manager, Garth Oksol, expressed “Our nation was built and has prospered on a solid backbone of infrastructure.”
