SouthEast Connector Project: July 2017 Flyover Video

Dear Stakeholder:

The project team has created the July 2017 flyover video showcasing Phase 2 construction progress. Each video begins at the southern end of the project (Segment 1) at the current intersection of South Meadows Parkway and Veterans Parkway and concludes at the northern end of the project at Clean Water Way (Segment 4).

Major construction advancements since the June 2017 video include: falsework placed for southbound lanes of Huffaker Bridge; falsework starting to be placed for southbound lanes of Mira Loma Bridge; increased construction of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls at Heron’s Landing; bridge abutments poured at Boynton Slough Bridge; curb, gutter and medians poured at Pembroke intersection; and willows growing in new wetlands complex in Segment 4.

You can watch the latest flyover video, and other videos featuring important aspects of the project, by visiting the ‘Videos’ page on the project website here. You can also subscribe to the SouthEast Connector Project and RTC Washoe channels on YouTube.

Public Information Day at Hidden Valley Country Club

Team members will be hosting an informal informational table just inside the main entrance to the clubhouse. This is a great way to meet part of the team, receive immediate responses and learn about what’s new with project operations.
