SouthEast Connector Community Open House Review

Dear Stakeholder:

The SouthEast Connector Community Open House held last Thursday, February 11, 2016 was a success for the project team. More than a 100 members from the public attended where they were able to meet the team and learn how the project improves transportation and the environment. Project stakeholders and dignitaries Ron Smith and Kristopher Dahir, Veterans Memorial Plaza Chairmen; Bob Lucey, Washoe County Commissioner; and Charlene Bybee, Sparks City Councilwoman were also present.

“We got a lot of support for the project,” said RTC Project Manager Garth Oksol. “The open house provided an opportunity for people to come down, view exhibits and ask questions about what they can expect when the project is finished.”

The open house was an all-day event and did not feature a formal presentation. If you were unable to attend the open house and would like to view the exhibits displayed, please click here.

Stakeholder updates will be distributed weekly, and as construction operations progress.
