Structures Receive Final Portion of Aesthetic Treatment

Dear Stakeholder:

Structures between Clean Water Way and Pembroke Drive were painted this week as the final portion of aesthetic treatment of the concrete surfaces. Structures include: four equalizing culverts, the Yori Drain Bridge columns and the mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls off of the Clean Water Way Bridge which was completed in Phase 1.

The paint colors as well as the pattern designs for structures throughout the project were chosen by the project’s Community Working Group (CWG) to complement the surrounding environment and scenery. The CWG was comprised of a diverse group of citizens representing community-wide organizations and neighborhoods to develop community-based decisions on the project throughout the design process.
