SouthEast Connector Project: April 2018 Flyover Video
The project team has created the April 2018 flyover video showcasing Phase 2 construction progress. Each video begins at the southern end of the project (Segment 1) at the current intersection of South Meadows Parkway and Veterans Parkway and concludes at the northern end of the project at the intersection of Sparks and Greg Street (Segment 4).
Major construction advancements since March’s video include:
- Continued reconstruction of the South Meadows/Veterans Parkway intersection
- Continued construction of the northbound soffit of the Huffaker Bridge
- Mira Loma Dr. closed to traffic for increased construction operations of the Mira Loma intersection

Greg Street Work Begins Next Week
Beginning Monday, April 9 for approximately one week, Granite Construction will be striping new turn lanes on Greg St. for access onto Veterans Pkwy. Drivers can expect lane closures during this time.
To access the Alamo Casino, Super 8 Hotel, or Hulda Way, drivers will need to use Vista Blvd. from I-80 to make left turns from and onto Greg St. This will be the permanent business access route for safety precautions as Greg St. will become five lanes of traffic in this area once the turn lanes are striped. New “No Left Turn” signs will be placed on Hulda Way and the Super 8 driveway to remind drivers.
Traffic control devices including cones and signs will remain in place on Greg St. until project completion this summer.
